The mission of Culinary Discovery is to instruct clients of all ages how to prepare simple, yet delicious and nutritious meals in the comfort of their own kitchen.  As the saying goes… there is nothing like a home cooked meal.  Join Tetiana on a gastronomic journey that is certain to elevate your home prepared meals to another level of enjoyment.

Education and Engagement

Culinary Discovery clients will learn not only how to be accomplished chefs, but they will also learn healthy eating habits and menu planning.  Chef Tetiana inspires her clients by teaching a variety of culinary skills through purposeful, light-hearted, animated instruction in your home learning environment.  Her workshops instill lifelong healthy culinary habits that guide her clients on an exciting gastronomic journey that adds spice and flavor to their lives.  Culinary Discovery offers culinary workshops in a wide variety of world cuisines to include authentic traditional Ukrainian dishes.  Popular workshops include the art of making and baking homemade sour dough bread and how to use local craft beer in every day culinary creations.

As a former student of Colorado State Universities’ Programs for Learning Academic and Community English (PLACE), Tetiana identified a need for international students to receive culinary instruction tailored to their needs while learning how to adapt to a new country.  In accordance, Chef Tetiana worked with PLACE to implement a pilot culinary workshop program to instruct students how to prepare student friendly nutritious meals.

Recently Chef Tetiana collaborated on a program with local volunteers to reduce the amount of waste in Colorado landfills.  Working with a local brewery, grain and barley bags were repurposed into reusable toe bags.

Friends and Family

Tetiana is married and resides with her family in Timnath, Colorado.  In addition to her professional life, she is an official representative and an active member of Ukrainians of Colorado as well as a distinguished speaker for the Colorado Refugee Speakers Bureau. She is currently involved in a project to repurpose non-recyclable barley and grain bags, from local breweries, into functional, reusable tote bags.  Repurposing the bags reduces waste in local Colorado landfills and proceeds from the sale of the Freedom bags are used to support children in need in Ukraine.
